A TRADITIONAL COUNTRY PUB IN THE HEART OF THE NEW FOREST – THE TRUSTY SERVANT AT MINSTEAD
The Trusty Servant Inn is in the centre of the village of Minstead overlooking the green, with its own stocks and memorial. Walkers, cyclists, children, dogs and coach parties are welcome at this Country Pub with great freshly prepared, home cooked food, local real ales and very large garden. The team will always give you a warm welcome and advice on what to do and see locally.
As donkeys, ponies, cows and pigs wander through the village it is easy to see why it is one of the most visited and least spoilt villages in The New Forest. It is just off the A31 surrounded by forest, with thatched cottages and many high banked lanes but is a special place that is completely isolated from the outside world. The 13th century church is home to the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
